- photographs and information relating to the facility or business;
- information regarding the pet-friendly services offered;

- send requests to accommodation facilities or operators;

C. AnimalAmo Community
Where the user makes use of the platform’s social or community features, AnimalAmo may process data and content published by the user, such as photographs, posts, comments, information about animals, and interactions with other users.

Legal basis: performance of a contract or implementation of pre-contractual measures requested by the user.
Depending on the circumstances, the facility or entity receiving the data may process it as an independent Data Controller.
F. Payments
Where paid services are available, the data required to manage payments may be processed through specialised payment service providers.
AnimalAmo does not necessarily store full payment card details, which may be handled directly by the relevant provider.
Legal basis: performance of the contract and compliance with administrative, accounting, and tax obligations.
G. Newsletter and promotional communications
Subject to the user’s consent, the e-mail address and any other contact details may be used to send:
- AnimalAmo news;
- Animal Times content;
- information about new accommodation facilities;
- events and experiences;
- promotions;
- initiatives and commercial communications.
Legal basis: consent of the data subject.
Users may withdraw their consent at any time through the unsubscribe link included in communications or by contacting AnimalAmo.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before such withdrawal.
H. Security and prevention of unlawful use

AnimalAmo may use services provided by third-party companies for the operation of the platform.
These may include, by way of example:
DigitalOcean
for hosting, server, and IT infrastructure services.
Mailgun
for sending and managing platform e-mail communications.
Stripe
for managing any electronic payments.
The actual use of such services and the related processing methods must be verified based on the technical configuration currently active on the website.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers are carried out in compliance with the conditions set out in Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR through appropriate legal safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable.
8. Transfers of Data Outside the European Economic Area
Where, for technical reasons or due to the use of certain providers, personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area, AnimalAmo adopts the safeguards required by applicable law.

- support and contact requests: for the time necessary to handle the request and for the possible protection of the Data Controller’s rights;
- technical and security logs: for the period strictly necessary for security purposes, unless longer retention is required in the event of incidents or investigations.
